April 22, 1928 — June 18, 2011

Ardina King, 83 of Ellendale, ND died June 18, 2011 at Prince of Peace Care Center, Ellendale. A memorial service will be 1:00pm Monday June 20 at Zion Lutheran Church, Ellendale with Pastor Tyson Labuhn officiating. Burial will be at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale. Ardina (Dubs) King, 83 of Ellendale, ND, was born April 22, 1928, to Otto and Martha (Will) Dubs. She attended school in New Leipzig, ND and graduated in 1946. She married Ernest M. King in New Leipzig on June 13, 1948, then resided in Ellendale. Ardina worked for Flolo Photo Studio in Valley City, ND and for Dinger-Graf Studio in Ellendale. She later worked at the Medical Clinic in Ellendale. She was a member of the following: American Legion Auxiliary (past president), Girl Scout Leader, Sing-in-Aires, Zion Lutheran Church, Choir and hand bells. Many friends and family knew her love for music, ceramics, flowers, fishing, quilting, crafts, painting and playing cards. Ernie died June 8, 2003. Ardina continued to live at her home until she moved to Evergreen Place in October 2004. In February 2006 she moved to Prince of Peace Care Center where she resided until her death June 18, 2011. Survivors include: two sons: Ernest Lloyd (Bonita) King, Minot, ND, Donald King (special friend Tracy Mayland), Colorado Springs, CO; one daughter: Connie D. Mueller, Ellendale, three grandchildren: Alison Kerska, Jordan King, Sara King, two great-grandchildren: Evan and Lauren Kerska. Step-Mother: Ella Dubs, Mott, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers: Waldemar and Richard Dubs. Ardina would love for you to put God first in your life.
