Patricia J. Davis

Patricia “Pat” J. Davis, 62 of Ellendale, ND died November 23, 2012 at her home in Ellendale. She was born April 24, 1950 in Oakes, ND to LaVerne Martin and Ruby Ethel (Chindberg) Johnson. Pat was baptized at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fullerton and confirmed at St. Helena’s Catholic Church, Ellendale. Pat was educated at Monango Public School where she graduated in 1968. After graduation she attended Stewarts School of Cosmetology in Aberdeen. She worked as a beautician in Ellendale for several years. In 1977 she married and lived in Fullerton and Casselton before moving to Fargo, ND. While in Fargo, she worked several jobs in the food industry mainly at K-Mart and Hornbachers. In 2009 Pat returned to Ellendale and began cooking at the Ellendale Senior Center and caring for her mother. Pat was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and had some special memories from attending games in Minneapolis, MN. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and table games. Pat is survived by her mother: Ruby Johnson, Ellendale, ND; two brothers: Wayne (Sharon) Johnson, Flagstaff, AZ, Michael (Sandra) Johnson, Pueblo, CO; two nieces: Jennifer Johnson, Mindy Johnson; two nephews: Mark (Carrie) Johnson, Joseph (Danita) Johnson and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one infant sister. The memorial service is 10:30am Thursday November 29 at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale with Father Thaines Arulandu offiating. Burial is at St. Helena’s Catholic Cemetery, Ellendale.
