Amelia “Molly” Schimke 87 of Corvallis, MT died July 3, 2013 at her home in Corvallis. The funeral is 10am Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale with Pastor Raymond Pomplun officiating. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery. Amelia “Molly” Schimke 87, of Corvallis, MT was born May 19, 1926 to Gottfried and Emma (Berreth) Nitschke in Ashley, ND. She married Rueben Schimke on October 14, 1945. They resided in North Dakota until the family moved to Lodi, CA in 1955. While in Lodi, Amelia started the Billy Café and raised her three children Daniel, Dorothy and Shirley. After closing the café, Molly worked at various retail stores as a sales clerk. In 1986, Rueben and Molly moved to Corvallis, MT where she retired. Rueben died in 1992. Molly continued to reside at her home in Corvallis until her death July 3, 2013. Molly is survived by her two daughters: Dorothy Lee Brentt of Corvallis, MT, Shirley Ann Collins of Lodi CA; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one brother: Clarence Nitschke of Pierre, SD; one sister Kathie Enrest Hurt of Oakes, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Daniel, three brothers: Otto, Samuel and Fred Nitschke; three sisters: Emma Aman, Ida Boschee and Frieda Nicholson.
