Etta Agnes Hill-Smith

Etta Agnes Hill-Smith, 97 of Ellendale, ND died September 5, 2013 at Prince of Peace Care Center Ellendale. Etta was born June 12, 1916 to Ira and Agnes (Coffin) Hill in rural Ellendale, North Dakota. Etta attended country schools in the area and later the State Normal and Industrial College in Ellendale. Every morning before school, Etta delivered milk in Ellendale from the family dairy. In 1937 she married Paul Smith. They had two sons Rickey Paul and Harlan Ray. Etta was a member of Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale. Survivors include two sons: Rickey (Tari) Smith of Boca Raton, FL, Harlan (Veronica) Smith, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren: Paul Sieber, Kimberly Barry, Pauleen Smith, Jason Smith, Christina Smith, Preston Smith; four great-grandchildren: Peyton Sieber, Lane Sieber, Skyler Bahr, Stormy Bahr; one great-great grandchild: Logan Bahr. The family had private services with burial at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel.
