Wesley Hoffman, 63 of Ellendale, ND died October 2, 2013 at Manor Care, Aberdeen, SD. Funeral services are 10:30am Monday, October 7 at Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale with Pastor Paul Henschen officiating. Visitaiton is 2-8pm Sunday with a prayer service is 7pm at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale. Visitation continues one hour prior to church services on Monday. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel. Wesley was born April 16, 1950 to John Jr. & Emma (Deutscher) Hoffman at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND. Wesley was baptized July 30, 1950 and confirmed April 11, 1965 at United Church of Christ, Fullerton, ND. He was educated in Fullerton, graduating in 1968. He furthered his education at University of ND, Ellendale branch. After his education, Wesley purchased the family farm south of Fullerton in 1972 where he farmed until 1982. He later worked for Andersen Farms. Wesley was a member of the Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and traveling throughout the United States. Survivors include three brothers: Leslie (Karen) Hoffman, Ellendale, ND, Jimmie (Carolyn) Hoffman, Peoria, AZ, Darles (Coleen) Hoffman, Evansville, WI; two sisters: Esther Retzlaff and Leona Hoffman both of Ellendale, ND and many nieces and nephews. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and sister-in-law: Clinton (Susan) Hoffman, Stanley Hoffman.
