Edna L Meidinger

Edna L. Meidinger 88, of Buffalo, MN formerly of Ellendale, ND died April 20, 2015 at Cottagewood Assisted Living, Buffalo. The funeral service is 2pm Sunday, April 26, at the Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale with Pastor Paul Henschen officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale, ND. Edna Meidinger was born September 3, 1926 to John and Elizabeth (Klipfel) Aman, Northeast of Ashley, ND. In 1938 she moved with her parents to Egeland ND where she finished her education and graduated from the Egeland School. Her family then moved back to Ashley. On October 26, 1947, Edna married Johnny Meidinger in Ashley. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Edna worked at various jobs, including raising her children, as a cook at the college in Ellendale and for the Edgeley school district with her husband Johnny. She retired from the Edgeley school district in 1988. In June 2001 Edna and Johnnie moved to Becker, MN where they resided until Johnnie’s death August 8, 2001. Later Edna moved to Buffalo, MN. Edna is survived by her children, Ronald (Emmy) Meidinger, Buffalo, MN, Peggy (Mike) Dwyer, Buffalo, MN, Delmer (Gloria) Meidinger, St. Cloud, MN, Ralph (June) Meidinger, Hutchinson, MN; nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnny, 12 siblings and a great grandchild, Chloe
