Inez Falk

Inez M. Falk, 72, Ellendale, ND died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Sanford Regional Hospital, Aberdeen, SD. Inez was born October 26, 1942 to William and Alma (Schaffer) Lammert. She was raised on a ranch North of Hazelton, ND. She attended a country school west of Bradock, ND. Inez married Alan Falk on October 15, 1960 at the Catholic Church in Hazelton. They lived in several places with most of their years in Ellendale, Linton, and Fargo, ND. Inez worked at numerous jobs in various towns over the years, including the grocery store, motel, hospital, public school, Scheels, and her own daycare. Inez was a member of St. Helena’s Catholic Church, Ellendale. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, crocheting, knitting, sewing, baking, playing cards, Yahtzee, and visits with friends and family. Inez is survived by her husband Alan of 54 years, four children: David (Lisha) Falk, Lafayette, LA, Dennis (Sandra) Falk, Millington, TN, Darla (Tim) Martin, Forbes, ND, Darrin (Karen) Falk, Burien, WA; four grandchildren: Jared Falk, Memphis, TN, Tanner (fiancé Taryn) Martin, Ellendale, ND, Justin Falk, Bartlett, TN, Meg Martin, Aberdeen, SD; one brother: Donnie (Marcie) Lammert, Moffit, ND; six sisters: Alice Nord, Hotsprings, SD, Nancy (Charles) Schnabel, Ashley, ND, Jean Ohlhauser, Linton, ND, Susie (Neil) Weber, Linton, ND, Lila (Ted) Humann, Bismarck, ND/AZ, and Sharon Caruso, Linton, ND; sisters-in-law: Carole Orth, Fargo, ND and Catherine Lammert, Linton, ND, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Bonnie Jo Falk, parents William and Alma Lammert, stepfather Paul Jackson, brother Lawrence Lammert; father-in-law: Henry Falk, mother-in-law: Marcella Falk, and brothers-in-law: Alex Ohlhauser, John Caruso, and Randolph Orth. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Friday, May 8 at St. Helena’s Catholic Church, Ellendale, with Father John F. Kizito officiating. Visitation is 6-7pm Thursday with a prayer service at 7pm at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale. Burial is at St. Helena’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel.
