Linda Krause

Linda L. Krause 65 of Ellendale, ND died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Aberdeen Health and Rehab, Aberdeen, SD. Linda was born October 1, 1950 to Orville and Letha (Persons) Hanson in Aberdeen, SD. She attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Central High School in 1968. On December 31, 1969 she married Jerold Krause in Webster, SD. After their marriage she helped Jerry on the farm and raised their daughter. She was employed with Fargo Assembly and later at The Fireside and Cenex in Ellendale. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ellendale where she held many offices. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and watching them in various sporting events. She also enjoyed raising chickens, gardening, and the company of her cats. She is survived by her daughter: Teresa (Dan) Blondo of Ellendale, ND; three grandchildren: Dylan, Adam and Eric Blondo all of Ellendale, ND; one sister: Cheryl Hanson of Aberdeen, SD; step-mother: Sandy Hanson of Longview, WA; mother-in-law: Elsie Krause of Ellendale, ND; sister-in-law: Coreen (Curt) Niederbaumer of Brooklyn Park, MN; niece: Jody (Dan) Mycka and their children Lucas and Stella of Coon Rapids, MN; one nephew: Ryan Niederbaumer of Brooklyn Center, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerold, father-in-law: William and many aunts and uncles. The funeral service is 2pm Friday, March 4 with a prayer service on Thursday at 5:30pm all at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale.
