Mildred A. Krause

Mildred A. “Millie” Krause 89 of Ellendale, ND died March 20, 2016 at Sanford Health, Aberdeen, SD. Millie was born February 9, 1927 to Robert and Gladys (Jones) Krause on a farm near Ellendale in Dickey County, ND. She went to country school at Kentner #2 and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1945. Millie worked at Sunset Creamery in Ellendale for three years. She then went to Coast to Coast in Ellendale where she worked for 55 years. In her spare time, Millie loved to do word search puzzles, garden and play with the cats. Millie is survived by her brother: Howard Krause of Ellendale, ND; one sister and brother-in-law: Mayme and (Art) Linder of Ellendale, ND; one niece: Cindy and (David) Bachelor of Valentine, NE; four great-nephews: James, Matthew, Kyle and Josh Bachelor; and special friends: Dennis and Patricia Ford of Ellendale. She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Gladys, one brother: Harold, one niece: Linda and one great-nephew: Michael Bachelor. The funeral is 2pm Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale with Pastor Dave Bennett officiating. Visitation will be 2-6pm Wednesday, March 23 and continuing one hour prior to services on Thursday at Hoven Funeral Chapel. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery, Ellendale.
