Inga V. Wall

Inga V. Wall, 77, of Forbes, ND was born November 23, 1931, in Grand Valley Township near Kulm, ND. Inga was the daughter of Reinhold & Ruth (Siewert) Brandenburger. She was raised on the family farm and educated at a country school. She worked at home and assisted in the care of her younger sisters until she married. On December 22, 1948, Inga married Arthur Wall in Ellendale, ND. Inga worked alongside Art in their farming operation for nearly 60 years. She was the main person in charge of working with the cattle. Inga died June 5, 2009, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital, Aberdeen, SD. Inga was an avid reader for years. She loved old-time dancing and very seldom missed a dance. Inga was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Forbes, the Forbes PTA, Coldwater Wildlife Club, Coteau Hills Society and Dickey County Historical Society. She served as secretary/treasurer of Farmers Union Local for approximately 20 years. Grateful to have shared in her life are her husband Art Wall, Forbes, ND; one daughter: Darlene (Jeff) Hallem, Pierre, SD, two sons: Darell (Marilyn) Wall, Forbes, ND, Dennis Wall, Mesa, AZ; one brother: Vernard Brandenburger, Forbes, ND; four sisters: Gloria Kobow, Montevideo, MN, Norma (David) Martin, Richfield, MN, Iris (Wayne) Steinwand, Edgeley, ND, Nina (Norman) Selzle, Underwood, MN; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral: 10am Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Forbes with Pastor Alan Eppen officiating. Visitation: 3-8pm and prayer service at 7pm Tuesday at Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale. Burial: Ellendale City Cemetery. Casket Bearers: Sheryl Sietsema, John Wall, Alan Berheim, Sue Urlacher, Pamela Henningsen, Joshua Berheim; Honorary Casket Bearers: Clayton, Wyatt and Paige Henningsen and Brandon Berheim; Organist: Katie Klipfel.
