DuAnn Marie Anderson

DuAnn Marie Anderson 77 of Ellendale, ND died June 6, 2017 at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital, Aberdeen, SD with her son Kevin at her side. DuAnn was born November 13, 1939, to Arndt and Mary (Wiederrich) Steinwand, Ellendale, ND. DuAnn married Donald Anderson, June 29, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church, Ellendale, ND. They adopted three children, Kevin, Konnie Kay, and Samantha. DuAnn was employed at Anthony's Clothing store June 1957 to May 1959. She was later employed at Dickey County Auditors office and later at the Treasury office for 44 years. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, gardening, and bowling. She also enjoyed family and many friends. She survived by her husband, Donald Anderson, Ellendale, ND; son: Kevin Anderson, Aberdeen, SD; daughers: Konnie Kay Anderson, Aberdeen, SD, Samantha Anderson, Ellendale, ND and sister: Connie Sobol, Orlando, FL. Grandchildren: Sean Anderson, Jake Anderson, Lexi Anderson, Drew Anderson; Brett Anderson, Tyler Pernsteiner, Zachary Anderson, Genie Anderson, Erin Anderson; and great-grandchild: Carson Regula. DuAnn was preceded in death by her parents: Arndt and Mary Steinwand; brother: Gordon Steinwand; sister: Shirley (Steinwand) Fichtelman. A memorial service is 10:30am Tuesday, June 27 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Ellendale with Pastor Galen Sylvester officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Burial is at Ellendale City Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale.
