Johanna K. Ulmer

Johanna Katharina Ulmer, 101, of Ellendale, ND formerly of Fullerton, ND was born October 27, 1908 in Sutton, NE. She was the daughter of Jacob J. and Sophie (Fuehrer) Ulmer. She was educated at Fullerton school. She resided with her parents and helped on the family farm. In 1980 Johanna moved into Ellendale. In December 2003 she entered Prince of Peace Care Center where she resided until her death October 30, 2009. Johanna was a member of the Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting giving many of the articles to her nieces, nephews and the church bazaar. She as survived by 28 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers: Richard, Nathan, Harold, Arthur, Hugo, Walter, Joseph and Alvin. Funeral Service: 10am Monday November 2, 2009 at Presbyterian United Methodist Church, Ellendale with Pastor Paul Henschen officiating. Visitation: 9am to time of service at the church Monday. Burial: Mapleview Cemetery, Fullerton, ND. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale, North Dakota.
