Taylor A. Bliss

Taylor A. Bliss, 21 of LaMoure, ND died April 8, 2018 in a vehicle accident two miles north of Ellendale, ND. A memorial service will be held 1pm Monday, April 16, 2018 at Trinity Bible College 50 6th Ave S, Ellendale with a reception following on campus. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale.Cards and memorials may be sent to: Corey & Crystal Bliss, PO Box 372, LaMoure, ND 58458.A beautiful young lady with a gentle spirit and a gracious heart, Taylor Bliss, 21, of LaMoure, ND left us suddenly on April 8, 2018, joining her Grandma Val (and other family members) in heaven. Taylor was born July 26, 1996 to Crystal and Corey (Weimer) Bliss in Fargo, ND. She spent part of her childhood in Detroit Lakes, MN, eventually moving to LaMoure, ND, where she attended high school and was a member of the graduating class of 2014. She earned a number of scholarships, and chose to attend Trinity Bible College (TBC) in Ellendale, ND (with a number of her closest friends). Being an outgoing and dynamic student, Taylor shined at TBC, pursuing two majors—one in Business and the other in Biblical Studies—and excelling in both academics and sports. She earned "Offensive MVP" in her beloved sport of volleyball and also earned "Female Lifter of the Year" after developing a passion for hitting the gym. Taylor also loved missions work and traveled to many other countries including Peru (twice), Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. Moved by her experiences on these trips, she was considering furthering her studies to obtain a teaching degree with the intention of doing elementary education in other countries. In addition to her schooling, sports, and missions work, she also worked with her grandfather, father, and aunt at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes MN for several years, helping both in the Corporate and the Ticket Offices, working with Artist Relations, and overseeing Credentials. Taylor was a loving, compassionate, and caring soul and always put others ahead of herself. She was gifted in friendship due to her loving honesty, innate kindness, generous and open spirit, and sense of loyalty. She had a deep love for children, and was often seen surrounded by them. Her patience, calmness, and care with them made her everybody’s first choice to look after their kids. Her infectious smile lit up the room, always followed by her contagious laugh. Her positive attitude and loving nature made Taylor someone other people always wanted to be around. She will be deeply and forever missed. She is survived by her loving parents Corey and Crystal Bliss (LaMoure, ND), her close-knit siblings Tyler Bliss (Grand Forks, ND), Liv and Max (both of LaMoure, ND), and so many more family members and friends too numerous to list.
