Timothy L. Fischer

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, September 20, 2026, Timothy Lawrence Fischer, 77. He was the son of the late Joseph E. Fischer Kathryn Feist Fischer.

Tim was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and a retired teacher from the Richmond County Board of Education. After retirement, he worked in many capacities at his home parish. He loved genealogy and enjoyed camping, visiting national parks, and, most of all, being surrounded by people. He was truly a kid at heart and a favorite uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His playful spirit, genuine warmth, and love of family made him someone who brought joy to those around him.

Family members include his brother: Gerald Fischer (Janet); sisters: Beverly Adkins and Mary Ulmer (Rick). Tim is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held 11:00am Friday, October 9, 2026 at St. Helena's Catholic Church, Ellendale, with Father Patrick Parks officiating. Burial is at St. Helena's Catholic Cemetery, Ellendale. The service will be live streamed here on Timothy's obituary page.
